Handcrafted picture frames, varying in all sizes, have been created using salvage wood from the Preservation Salvage Store

Traci Claussen, founder of, designed and created these salvaged cypress serving trays & donated 3 of them to the Preservation Salvage Store!

SEXY TREES OF THE MARIGNY 2011 CALENDAR IS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE:

Local artist and organization team up to create a calendar highlighting New Orleans’ neighborhood beauty and tree planting efforts.

The Sexy Trees of the Marigny Calendar was created by artist Candy Chang for Marigny Green, a neighborhood volunteer committee of the Faubourg Marigny Improvement Association. By purchasing this calendar, people will help Marigny Green provide a healthier urban canopy of trees in the historic Faubourg Marigny. The calendar can be purchased at select stores in New Orleans and online through www.marignygreen.org. [Mention it’s part of FMIA which is a non-profit so it’s tax-deductable]

From August 11-13th, The Green Project will be closing its lumberyard to completely restructure it. Thank you to all of our volunteers who will have so unglamorously  sweated besides us on this project!
